T he only thing loved by everyone in this world despite their age is chocolates. Nearly 90% of the world's population loves chocolate. Numerous people around you including you may love chocolates like me. But have you ever thought about where the chocolate came from? Who invented it? So, now we'll look in the history of chocolate Where was it's origin? It's hard to pin down exactly when chocolate was born, but it's clear that it was cherished from the start. Chocolate's rich history of 4.000 years began in Mesoamerica (present-day Mexico). Olmec is one of the earliest civilizations in Latin America, were the first to turn the cacao plant into chocolate. They drank their chocolate during rituals and used it as medicine. Today, such drinks are also known as "Chilate" and are made by locals in the south of Mexico and the northern triangle of Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras).
